Safe Travel for Every Employee
The safety of the people we carry comes first — especially women employees travelling at night.
- Between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, our drivers never pick up a woman employee first or drop her last. Where this cannot be avoided, a male colleague or company security guard travels in the cab and escorts her until she reaches the office or home.
- Driver and vehicle details are sent to employees by SMS. Any change of driver or vehicle is confirmed by another SMS or a call from our helpline.
- If in doubt, employees board only after a confirmation call or SMS from our helpdesk.
Every Vehicle Checked Before Deployment
Most vehicles in our fleet are owned by us, and every one goes through induction and documentation before it carries a passenger.
No Older Than 3 Years
No vehicle in the fleet is older than three years from its date of registration.
Seat Belts for All
Safety belts for every occupant, cushioned seats and backrests, and secure door locks.
Good Tyres Only
Vehicles run on good tyres in their best condition — retreaded tyres are not accepted.
Registered & Insured
Registered as public carriers (taxi) with taxes and permits paid and valid insurance covering all passengers.
Clear Signage
A rash-driving sticker on the rear windshield and the driver's display card inside every vehicle.
Documents to Clients
Copies of each vehicle's induction documents are submitted to the client with a covering letter.
Safety Kit on Board
Each vehicle carries the following at all times, along with anything else required by law.
- First-aid kit
- Fire extinguisher
- Working torch
- Pepper spray
- Small hammer
- Spare tyre, jack & tool kit
- Mobile charger & hands-free
- Umbrella
Verified, Licensed & Presentable
- Police Verification Certificate for every driver
- A valid driving licence and an Intracity Venki ID card
- Preferably English plus one more regional language
- Neatly dressed and carrying the vehicle's insurance and registration papers while on duty
- Good knowledge of road rules, road conditions and Bengaluru geography
Checked Again and Again
Compliance doesn't stop at induction — our ground staff keep checking.
Periodic inspections
Ground staff inspect each vehicle for physical damage, tyre condition and cleanliness, and get issues fixed.
Document tracking
We keep a record of every vehicle's and driver's statutory documents and renew them before they expire, sharing copies with the client.
Surprise checks
Unannounced checks for all compliances, including alcohol-meter tests for drivers.
Training for Safe Motoring
We are committed to absolutely safe travel in every cab we deploy. Every driver and staff member completes at least a week of in-house and field training before taking up duty.
- Training on Bengaluru geography, communication skills, first aid at accidents and defensive driving
- Monthly driver meetings with the client's representative to discuss issues and road safety
- Accident Free Week and Safe Driver of the Month campaigns once every three months
- Cultural activities and team outings for all staff and drivers at least twice a year, because rest and recreation keep people fresh, alert and at their best on the road

Monitoring Every Trip
Our 24/7 helpdesk at the client's premises monitors the movement of cabs and employees and follows a standard operating procedure to ensure on-time log-ins and log-outs. On request, we can add the following technology at additional cost.
GPS Tracking
Real-time vehicle tracking with a panic button, over-speed and route-deviation alerts, and idle alerts.
Swipe Cards
Employee swipe cards to record the exact boarding time.
Entry & Exit Monitoring
RF proximity readers at your gate log vehicle arrival and departure, with near real-time reports after every login and logout.
